Established in 1922 by the young chemical engineer Theodore B. Unger as a soap manufacturer, our legacy in the art of surface chemistry goes back many generations. Since then the history has taken us through challenging and interesting times to our position today as a technologically advanced and highly specialized supplier of surfactants for a variety of applications to more than 70 countries around the world.

In the course of the last decade Unger has consistently invested in new capacity and technologies to meet new market demand in the area of dry surfactants. Today, we are a global leader in this specialized area, and we have exciting new processing capabilities for dry surfactants due for launch in 2008.
